Job Description

KEY DUTIES

  1. Lead and oversee all general insurance sales and distribution channels, driving new business acquisition, renewals, and achievement of annual premium targets.
  2. Design and execute a comprehensive GI sales and distribution strategy, optimising channel performance and reallocating resources to high-impact opportunities.
  3. Serve as executive owner of key broker, affinity, and strategic partner relationships, ensuring governance, portfolio performance, and long-term mutual growth.
  4. Formulate and manage sales budgets and forecasts, track monthly performance against targets, and deliver accurate sales reporting to Executive Management.
  5. Lead, coach, and develop senior sales leaders while driving a high-performance, customer-centric culture and championing data-driven decision-making across the sales organisation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a relevant professional qualification in a related discipline.
  2. A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 12–15 years' experience in sales leadership, business development, or general management within the financial services industry.
  4. Demonstrated success in leading multi-channel sales organisations and delivering sustainable business growth.
  5. Strong strategic, commercial, and financial acumen, with proven stakeholder management, relationship management, and governance capabilities.
