Job Description
KEY DUTIES
- Lead and oversee all general insurance sales and distribution channels, driving new business acquisition, renewals, and achievement of annual premium targets.
- Design and execute a comprehensive GI sales and distribution strategy, optimising channel performance and reallocating resources to high-impact opportunities.
- Serve as executive owner of key broker, affinity, and strategic partner relationships, ensuring governance, portfolio performance, and long-term mutual growth.
- Formulate and manage sales budgets and forecasts, track monthly performance against targets, and deliver accurate sales reporting to Executive Management.
- Lead, coach, and develop senior sales leaders while driving a high-performance, customer-centric culture and championing data-driven decision-making across the sales organisation.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a relevant professional qualification in a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12–15 years' experience in sales leadership, business development, or general management within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-channel sales organisations and delivering sustainable business growth.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and financial acumen, with proven stakeholder management, relationship management, and governance capabilities.
